Beginner Piano Lessons

​

A student who has no experience at piano is always very welcome – children (from aged 6 upwards) or adults.

​

Due to her technique of drawing on students' strengths, Caroline can tell where a student is in terms of their ability and can personalise their lessons and assist with setting a practice routine. She will show the student how to be creative in their music making through games, composing, technology (music apps e.g. Garageband) and artwork inspired composition.

NEW! Group Beginner Piano Lessons (available at Business Boutique Retreat situated in Oakengates,Telford) 

​

Piano lessons are available to beginner learners who want to complete piano lessons with other children aged 7-11 years old. Make new friends and make music! It is really fun to make music in a group, and really is motivating to learn your part and fit it in. 

​

Intermediate Piano Lessons

​

Piano lessons are available to those who want to complete grades on the piano and music theory lessons per grade support the students' practical skills improvement.

​

Music grades with ABRSM, Trinity and LCM exam boards are offered to students (depending on what path they want to take). There are opportunities to take performance only grades, or performing pieces alongside scales/aural and sight-reading test.

​

The current piano exam pass rate is 100%

Music Theory

​

Students can also take music theory grades alongside their practical grades.

​

Online Piano Lessons

​

Now due to Covid-19, piano lessons are available online via platforms such as Zoom, Facetime and WhatsApp and Rock Out Loud (preferred due to superior sound) depending on what options are available to the student at home (if you have a keyboard/piano and internet connection).

Performance Opportunities

​

Students are also offered the chance to perform in two concerts per year. They are prepared in their lessons for the opportunity to play in front of an audience. Furthermore, they show a definite improvement in their playing practice, their confidence, motivation and their skills due to this chance. A Virtual Concert via Rock Out Loud Concert Mode is also an option.

20 minute lessons are £10

​

30 minute lessons are £16

​

45 minute lessons are £22

​

Lessons need to be booked in a half termly block (around 6 weeks).
